Project Development Engineer I

📋 Description

• Serve as primary technical resource for sales during pre-sale development of scope, designs
• Develop concept drawings: electrical one-lines, site layouts, and other docs for project
• Review customer specs to define project scope, schedule, risks, and delivery needs.
• Develop accurate project estimates and support proposal prep, including vendor quotes.
• Act as technical liaison among sales, product engineering, manufacturing, PM, vendors, and internal
• Support turn-key, equipment-only, specialty, and other project opportunities to meet design intent.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as electrical consultant, application engineer, development engineer, or similar.
• Strong CAD skills; proficient with engineering and business software.
• Ability to develop electrical concept drawings and site layouts.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, analysis, and estimating.
• Experience with reciprocating engine systems; understand NEC, NFPA, IBC, IEEE codes.
