Propulsion Engineer, Fleet Support (R5005)

📋 Description

• Senior Propulsion Engineer as propulsion SME for V-BAT Fleet Support
• Customer-facing engineering lead for propulsion escalations across the fielded fleet
• Bridge between Fleet Support and propulsion, vehicle, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Diagnose issues, drive root cause, and improve fleet reliability
• Develop procedures, criteria, and guidance for fleet support and customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions and reliability improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 6+ years in aircraft, rotorcraft, UAS, or propulsion engineering
• Hands-on with engine, fuel, oil systems; thermal behavior; vibration; root-cause analysis
• Experience troubleshooting fielded hardware from ambiguous failure reports
• Ability to analyze flight/test/maintenance data
• Strong written and verbal communication in cross-functional settings
