📋 Description

• Lead engagement with government bodies and officials across India on AI governance, safety
• Build trusted relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, civil society
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Represent the organization at policy events, advancing objectives and external relationships.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on regional policy trends and implications.
• Collaborate with Legal, Safety, Security, and GTM teams to support responsible AI policies.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in public policy or government affairs across public/private sectors.
• Significant experience in technology/AI policy and Indian regulatory landscape.
• Strong knowledge of AI governance, privacy, data protection, etc.
• Proven track record in coalition-building and stakeholder engagement.
• Public policy experience across India; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; comfort operating in high-growth, ambiguous environments.
