Python Engineer (Contract)

📋 Description

• Own backend features from development to deployment and support
• Develop APIs and services using Python and Django
• Work on message-driven systems (Kafka)
• Write clean, reliable, well-tested code (unit/integration tests)
• Collaborate to design scalable solutions and meet deadlines
• Participate in code reviews
• Assist deployment and maintenance of containerized services
• Support cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in on-call rotations and production support

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Python backend development experience
• Django and asynchronous Python (asyncio) experience
• Kafka or similar message brokers in production
• Docker containerization experience
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or others)
• PostgreSQL or relational database knowledge
• Experience writing automated tests
• CI/CD workflows and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience with Agile teams and code reviews
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
• Kubernetes experience
• Frontend knowledge (React)
• Event sourcing and CQRS knowledge
• Big data frameworks (e.g., Flink)
