QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Build scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Embed quality into CI/CD by integrating automated tests into pipelines and release gates.
• Test APIs and backend systems across REST and GraphQL.
• Improve test effectiveness by increasing coverage and reducing regression time.
• Apply risk-based testing prioritizing critical user journeys and business impact.
• Mentor and influence others while staying hands-on.

🎯 Requirements

• 7–12 years of deep automation experience.
• Strong production-quality coding in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Framework design: build or improve modular automation frameworks.
• CI/CD ownership with Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps (PR checks/release gates).
• Backend testing strength across REST or GraphQL.
• Product and business judgement with risk-based automation prioritization.
• Evidence of measurable automation impact (coverage, faster pipelines).
• Clear, collaborative communication and ability to explain quality with data.
