QA / Test Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Assist in reliability and release readiness of Java-based applications hosted in AWS.
• Combine manual and automated testing across web apps, APIs, databases, integrations, and end-to-end
• Contribute to large-scale software modernization in an agile, cloud-focused environment.
• Translate requirements into test strategies, identify quality risks, and validate fixes through the
• Collaborate with developers, product, DevSecOps, security, data, and business teams to build
• Support reusable automation, CI/CD quality gates, test coverage, and testing practices improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least four years in software quality assurance or related technical field.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Federal Public Trust; existing Public Trust/suitability preferred.
• Hands-on experience testing Java-based web apps, services, APIs, integrations, databases, and data
• Experience developing, maintaining, executing, and troubleshooting automated tests with automation
• Experience building reusable automated test components, managing test data/locators, applying
• Experience testing applications deployed in AWS and working with cloud-hosted components, APIs
