Quality Inspector - Supply Chain Avionics

📋 Description

• Travel up to 75% to perform inspections at supplier sites
• Visual and dimensional inspections on parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies
• Use standard gauges to ensure quality
• Inspect tolerances with appropriate tools
• Perform complex inspections on purchased parts and materials
• Collaborate with teams to improve processes at SpaceX and suppliers

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of receiving, precision, or metrological inspection
• Experience leading a project or team (preferred)
• Avionics inspection experience for electro-mechanical components
• Ability to read drawings/specs using ASME Y14.5
• Lean manufacturing knowledge (FIFO, 5S, etc.)
