Quantity Takeoff Specialist

📋 Description

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for flooring, tile, cabinets, and countertops from blueprints
• Calculate material quantities in correct units (SF, SY, LF, EA) with waste factors and room
• Quantify items like trim, thresholds, edge profiles, and cabinet boxes from elevations/schedules
• Cross-reference finish schedules against drawings to flag discrepancies or missing info
• Perform digital takeoffs using MeasureSquare 8 with quantities labeled and traceable to sources
• Enter quantities into standardized Excel bid workbooks and update as documents change

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or diploma in quantity surveying, construction management, architecture, or related field
• 2+ years in construction takeoffs, estimating, or quantity surveying
• Proficiency with MeasureSquare 8 and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to read architectural drawings, specs, floor plans, elevations
• Strong math/measurement skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written/spoken English, reliable high-speed internet
