R&D Technician, Build & Test

📋 Description

• Assemble and test experimental electrochemical cells and systems to evaluate new materials, cell
• Operate experimental test stands per work instructions and in accordance with all safety standards
• Perform preventative maintenance on test stands
• Requisition, inspect, organize, and prepare raw material, components, hardware
• Support the technical team by stocking, cleaning, and maintaining key consumables and equipment
• Contribute to rapid learning cycles by sharing scientific observations and recommending process

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a chemical laboratory, with mechanical systems, or in a production
• Familiarity with chemical hygiene, hand tools, and basic electrical safety practices
• Ability to safely and effectively execute lab processes with limited work instructions
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace Applications
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work on step stools
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
