📋 Description

• Lead external innovation efforts for obesity assets and participate in diligence efforts.
• Support collaborations and licensing opportunities to diversify AbbVie’s obesity pipeline.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to expand obesity targets into neuroscience and immunology.
• Oversee in vitro/in vivo PoC studies with CROs and academic labs.
• Analyze preclinical PK, in vitro, and in vivo data for obesity assets.
• Prepare scientific reports and presentations for preclinical obesity assets.

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D with post-doctoral training in neuroscience, biology, or related field.
• 6+ years independent research in industry or academia.
• Expertise in obesity-related science including CNS energy balance and peripheral metabolism.
• Proven publication record; proficiency with AI tools, data analysis, and graphing tools.
• Ability to present platform talks at international conferences; strong organizational and
