Radiology Coder/Auditor

📋 Description

• Maintain high coding accuracy across radiology services.
• Perform advanced reviews for radiology, PET, and Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Conduct QA audits of internal and external coding activities.
• Identify trends; suggest process improvements for revenue integrity.
• Review denials, reimbursements, and documentation discrepancies.
• Ensure ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier usage guidance compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of radiology coding experience (PET/Nuclear Medicine).
• CPC or RCC certification required.
• CPMA and/or RCC-IR certification preferred.
• Experience in coding audits, QA reviews, and compliance assessments.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and radiology reimbursement.
