Real Estate Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Month-End Close and General Accounting tasks, including posting journal entries and monitoring
• Record accruals, reclassifications, prepaid expenses, and other recurring accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and maintain
• Analyze actual vs. budget/forecast; prepare analyses, roll-forwards, and supporting schedules.
• Manage asset and expense records, depreciation, amortization, and asset classifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and deliver accurate financial

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Internship, public accounting, or 1-3 years of accounting experience; journal entries, accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations experience; strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Analytical, organized, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• CPA track or interest in professional certifications is a plus.
