Regulated Messaging Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance written electronic communications transport services
• Manage and optimize Windows Server and IIS infrastructure supporting regulated messaging workflows.
• Develop Python-based automation, integrations, and operational tools.
• Design, deploy, and oversee messaging retention and archiving solutions for global compliance.
• Configure, administer, and test Proofpoint Enterprise Archive and retention capabilities.
• Implement and maintain governance for messaging and email platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering/architecture experience with Windows-based SMTP, retention, and archiving.
• Hands-on with Windows IIS SMTP forwarding services.
• Practical experience with email retention, archiving, or vaulting platforms.
• Experience administering Proofpoint Enterprise Archive; other Proofpoint products not substituting.
• Strong Python skills for automation and integrations.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
