📋 Description

• Support regulatory matters across the Americas for Airwallex’s business.
• Advise on licensing, money transmission and related regulatory requirements.
• Assist with licensing, registration and ongoing compliance obligations.
• Partner with Product Legal, Regulatory Compliance, Risk and Financial Crime teams on regulatory
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into practical guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Regulatory, financial-services or fintech experience in-house, private practice or at a financial
• Exposure to payments, money transmission, e-money, FX, remittances, card issuing or related areas.
• Working understanding of US financial-services regulatory environment; interest in state
• Ability to research complex regulatory questions and translate findings into clear advice.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain legal topics to non-lawyers.
