Remote Estimator (Structural Steel Fabrication)

📋 Description

• Full‑Time Remote Structural Steel Estimator overseeing estimating processes.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for structural steel fabrication projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations and material pricing.
• Work with leadership on estimating methodologies, labor rates, overhead, and margins.
• Utilize estimating/CM software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore) and maintain bid documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–12+ years of U.S. commercial construction estimating experience.
• Strong experience in structural steel fabrication estimating; miscellaneous metals experience a
• Proficient with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore; other estimating platforms ok.
• Excellent English communication; strong attention to detail.
• Available to work 40 hours/week during U.S. Central Time.
