Research Computing Software Engineer (Platform Observability)

📋 Description

• Design and implement secure, automated infrastructure for HPC environments.
• Build and operate observability infra across metrics, logs, tracing.
• Develop, maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code.
• Deploy workloads across container orchestration, bare-metal, and cloud.
• Apply DevSecOps to Linux infra, automation, and sysadmin.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to identify risks and solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree with 2+ years experience, or bachelor with relevant exp.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools, Linux infra, and sysadmin.
• Experience building infrastructure automation via config mgmt and scripting.
• CI/CD pipeline development and deployment knowledge.
• Familiarity with container orchestration and cloud-native tech.
• Strong observability knowledge: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts.
