Retinal Camera Operator - Eye Exam Specialist (Opthalmology)

📋 Description

• Perform scheduled diabetic eye exams (retinal screenings) using company-provided imaging equipment.
• Travel to provider practices and patient homes; travel expenses covered by the company.
• Operate retinal imaging equipment after training and maintain competency through ongoing training.
• Manage a daily eye exam schedule and coordinate travel logistics.
• Build strong relationships with coworkers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams.
• Support quality improvement, patient outreach, and customer success as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Willingness to travel daily, up to 100%, to provider practices; no prior eye exam or imaging
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Associate degree or greater in a related field.
• 1–3 years in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing or coding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and healthcare systems.
