Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Lead the revenue close, including deferred revenue and journals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Billing Ops, Eng, FP&A on contracts.
• Assess performance obligations and revenue impact of new products.
• Build scalable processes; coordinate external audit for IPO readiness.
• Remote-first with East Coast US focus; NYC office option.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep ASC 606 expertise (multi-element, SSP, variable consideration).
• Experience leading the revenue close (deferred revenue, journal entries).
• Partner with Sales and Legal on contract reviews.
• Experience in pre-IPO/public company with external audit exposure.
• CPA/ACCA active; Big 4 background a plus.
• Strong systems proficiency; Stripe or similar tool preferred.
