Safety Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build scalable backend infra for content moderation and guardrails
• Architect APIs, data pipelines, and services for real-time and batch moderation
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability; set SLIs/SLOs
• Partner with ML engineers to productionize models across product suite
• Drive decisions and roadmap for scalability and platform guardrails

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience building production systems at scale
• Strong production backend: distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, and Python (async)
• Infra & DevOps: AWS/GCP, Docker/K8s, CI/CD pipelines
• Observability mindset with Prometheus and Grafana
• Track record taking products from 0→1 with ML/AI in production
• MLOps experience: deployment, monitoring, and versioning of ML models
