Sample Preparation Technician (7 Month Contract)

📋 Description

• Fixed term contract of 7 months.
• Prepare seed samples for analysis in the lab.
• Plating and planting of seed samples.
• Archive, return, and dispose of samples per policies.
• Archive documents and maintain a log.
• Maintain clean work area and assist lab technicians.

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma
• Post-secondary science education is a strong asset
• Experience in a laboratory setting is a strong asset
• Comfort with numerals and data monitoring on computer screens
• Excellent visual acuity
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions safely
