Sample Preparation Technician (General Labourer)

📋 Description

• Unpack, sort, transfer and dry samples
• Execute crushing, pulverizing and screening of geological materials per SGS procedures
• Operate procedures
• Conduct routine quality checks incl. particle size analysis, dust loss; report to supervisor/group
• Ensure work order docs complete and QC results input into SLIMS as needed
• Maintain clean, organized bench; dispose per lab procedures incl. special soil handling

🎯 Requirements

• Education: High school Diploma
• Experience: 0-1 years or equivalent through education
• Strong analytical and mechanical skills
• Ability to perform routine bench tests
• Willingness to learn new analytical tests, instrumentation and procedures
• Must read, understand and follow instructions safely and timely
