Sample Preparation Technician (General Labourer) - DIDO

📋 Description

• Sort, transfer, dry samples and perform routine lab tasks per SOPs.
• Crush, pulverize and screen geological materials as per work orders.
• Conduct routine quality checks (particle size, dust loss) and report variances.
• Maintain accurate work orders and enter QC data into SLIMS.
• Keep bench area clean and follow lab disposal procedures for soils.
• Maintain equipment and note any defects or adjustments needed.

🎯 Requirements

• High school Diploma.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience or related education.
• Strong analytical and mechanical skills; routine bench tests ability.
• Willingness to learn new tests, instrumentation and procedures.
• Read, understand and follow work instructions safely and accurately.
• Good verbal and written communication; works well with others and independently.
