📋 Description

  • Operate and interpret data from AFM, Nanoindentation, and Optical Profilometry instrumentation.
  • Design analytical approaches to address customer questions and technical challenges.
  • Prepare samples, acquire data, and perform surface and mechanical property characterization.
  • Process, analyze, and interpret data to generate technical conclusions.
  • Write scientific reports and present findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex investigations.

🎯 Requirements

  • PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience using AFM, Nanoindentation, or related techniques.
  • Experience designing analytical protocols and conducting independent investigations.
  • Strong ITAR understanding; U.S. Person status required.
  • Preferred AFM modes: SCM, SSRM, sMIM, KPFM, MFM; AFM experience with nanomechanical testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in teams.
