Scientist l, Cell Line Development (based fully onsite)

📋 Description

• Develop CHO cell lines for GMP applications in South San Francisco, CA.
• Bench-focused role owning projects end to end with process & analytical partners.
• Execute cell line development workflows: transfection, selection, clone screening, scale-up.
• Characterize lines via PCR/qPCR/ddPCR and sequencing-based methods.
• Generate monoclonal lines and maintain cell banks with proper records.
• Design fed-batch and parallel culture studies to evaluate productivity and stability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (5+ yrs) or Master’s (2+ yrs) in biologics or related field.
• Hands-on aseptic mammalian cell culture with CHO focus.
• Proficiency in DNA/RNA extraction and PCR-based analyses (qPCR/ddPCR).
• Experience creating stable CHO lines and using transposase/recombinase systems.
• Cryopreservation of CHO cells and cell bank management.
• Experience with cloning, screening in 96-well/24-deep-well plates, and data interpretation.
