Security Analyst (East Coast) - Mid-Atlantic region

📋 Description

• Proactive security analyst to prevent incidents and improve threat posture.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Located in the eastern time zone (EST) with focus on East Coast operations.
• Analyze logs, network traffic, and threat indicators to form attack theories.
• Utilize SIEM tools to investigate and tune queries and detections.
• Engage in triage, containment, and threat eradication activities as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with SIEM tools and SPL queries for investigations.
• Understanding of Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and related protocols.
• Ability to analyze network traffic and identify anomalies.
• Familiarity with EDR tools, anti-virus and malware analysis.
• Experience with log analysis, regex, and basic scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
