Security Engineer II - Vulnerability Management

📋 Description

• Maintain Samsara’s vulnerability management infrastructure and de-risk software vulnerabilities.
• Automate security workflows and operate infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve detection.
• Participate in security incident investigations for high-profile vulnerabilities.
• Document processes and drive security program improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with security engineering best practices and common vulnerabilities.
• Scripting in Python; knowledge of Pandas for data analysis.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and IaC concepts; Terraform a plus.
• Linux-based troubleshooting; vulnerability tools exposure (e.g., Wiz, Semgrep) a plus.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in security engineering or vulnerability management.
