Security Operations Center Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the SOC operations, owning people, process, and performance.
• Coordinate with insider threat, threat hunting, incident response, forensics, and vulnerability
• Optimize alert triage, prioritization, and escalation for timely action.
• Ensure the SOC functions work as a single operation, not as isolated parts.
• Provide leadership with accurate, actionable reporting on security posture and exposure.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOC playbooks and standard operating procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience running a security operations center or equivalent detection and response function.
• Managed a team through a real incident and can describe lessons learned.
• Experience communicating security posture to non-technical leadership.
• Background in federal or highly regulated security programs.
• Active CBP BI, DHS clearance, or equivalent DoD clearance preferred.
• Comfort across insider threat, threat hunting, incident response, forensics, and vulnerability
