Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Own capital expenditure and fixed-asset accounting for the bakery portfolio, including additions
• Track and report new bakery openings — capitalizing build-out costs and reporting capital spend
• Account for capitalized software and internal capitalized labor, ensuring costs are capitalized and
• Manage repairs and maintenance accounting, applying the capitalization policy to distinguish

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience — retail/consumer products experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and practical application of technical accounting.
• Experience working cross-functionally and handling multiple stakeholders and workstreams
• Strong communication and presentation skills — the ability to tell a story and not just report out
