Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting operations
• Handle AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger
• Support monthly/quarterly close and accurate financial reporting
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and apply AI tooling
• Collaborate with Controller and cross-functional teams on close timelines and audit requests
• Help drive accuracy and GAAP-compliant financial records

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a high-volume environment
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent attention to detail and clear cross-functional communication
• Hands-on experience across AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment; preference for Eastern Time Zone
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
