Manage key accounting functions supporting financial operations and compliance
Own payroll accounting, state tax compliance, revenue recognition, grant accounting
Co-own general ledger and month-end close process

🎯 Requirements

5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
Experience with payroll accounting and multi-state payroll tax compliance
Experience with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
Experience preparing account reconciliations and journal entries
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
