Senior Accountant - General Ledger

📋 Description

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries, accruals
• Maintain balance sheet accounts; support accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, and
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, SOX, and financial controls.
• Partner with finance teams and stakeholders to validate data, support reporting, and provide audit
• Assist internal and external audits with schedules, reconciliations, and supporting docs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate/global environments.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger processes.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large datasets).
• ERP experience; Workday Financials preferred.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
