Senior AFC Compliance Officer

📋 Description

• Build and run AML/CFT and sanctions framework in Germany.
• Act as senior AML control owner for Bitpanda in Germany.
• Ensure compliance with GwG, BaFin, FIU, EU rules, and Travel Rule.
• Oversee second-level AML controls, reviews, and escalations.
• Collaborate with Product, Eng, Data, and Legal on automation.
• Lead internal/external audits and regulatory liaison tasks.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced AML leader in fintech/crypto or financial services.
• Deep knowledge of German GwG, BaFin, FIU, MiCAR, sanctions, and Travel Rule.
• Crypto-native risk expertise and ability to translate law to process.
• Strong collaboration with executives, regulators, auditors, and teams.
• Bilingual in German and English; able to work cross-border.
• Proven track record as Geldwäschebeauftragter or MLRO/Deputy MLRO.
