Senior AI Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate production AI systems, including agent orchestration, tool and API
• Architect and maintain marketing databases, datasets, pipelines, and Samsara's Customer Data
• Partner with the BI team to expand conversational analytics across the marketing organization.
• Identify and automate manual workflows with AI, taking ideas from concept to prototype to
• Stand up new data pipelines end to end: discover schema, collaborate with internal and vendor
• Own the reliability and data quality of what you build.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering or AI engineering with hands-on data engineering experience.
• Expert Python and SQL with strong data modeling experience.
• Experience shipping systems that use LLMs or agents in production.
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and leveraging AI to accelerate
• Deep experience with data warehouses, ETL/ELT, and modern data stack (Databricks, DBT, Snowflake
• Ability to lead requirements gathering independently and automate opportunities through stakeholder
