Senior AI Engineer

📋 Description

• Hybrid role based in Brussels office; requires two days in office weekly.
• Build AI features that ship into Collibra product for enterprises and agencies.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and MLOps to take AI from prototype to production.
• Work on production AI: streaming responses, agent loops, checkpointing, scalable for customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering; 3+ years applying data science/ML in production (LLM, RAG, NLP
• Hands-on with agent-loop frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) and tool-calling standards (MCP) including
• Experience with agent harness architecture: sandboxed code execution, tool permissioning
• Experience with agent evaluation frameworks for tool-calling behavior and agent trajectories.
• Strong observability: detect silent no-output as defects.
• Retrieval/RAG judgment: hybrid semantic + keyword search, rank fusion, precision/recall tradeoffs.
