Design and ship AI agent systems end to end, from experiments to production, including data access
Integrate with Kota infrastructure (Metabase, internal APIs) and ensure robust evaluation
Set technical direction for AI at Kota and influence agent architecture decisions
Collaborate across the AI pod and Platform team to surface new AI opportunities
Expand the role as the early pod evolves with the team

🎯 Requirements

5+ years software engineering experience, 2+ years with LLM/AI agents in production
Strong grasp of agent architecture: context management, tool use, retrieval, prompt design
Experience building evaluation frameworks: golden datasets, regression tests, retrieval vs
Comfort across the full stack and clear written communication
