Senior AML Investigator

📋 Description

• Lead high-risk, multi-jurisdictional investigations in a fast-paced cryptoPayments setting.
• Perform on-chain tracing and attribution analysis; translate findings into clear conclusions.
• Draft SAR narratives and filing packages for BSA review; set internal standards for investigations.
• Develop typologies and feed findings into monitoring rules to reduce false positives.
• Shape AI-assisted investigative workflows while ensuring verifiable human review.
• Identify and escalate anomalies in line with AML policies; advise on customer risk decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 4 years in AML/financial crime/fraud investigations; at least 2 years in blockchain/digital
• Deep Bitcoin tracing skills: multi-hop tracing, peel chains, obfuscation patterns.
• Strong analytical, written narrative, and documentation abilities; SAR experience.
• Solid knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, and SAR standards.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM Labs) and KYC/case management.
• Ability to work autonomously and remotely; strong team collaboration and urgency.
