Senior Audit and Financial Reporting Specialist

📋 Description

• Perform end-to-end audit engagements under ASA.
• Prepare planning docs: risk assessments, materiality, and audit programs.
• Conduct substantive testing, analytical procedures, and internal control testing.
• Identify audit issues and their impact on financial statements; prepare working papers.
• Complete audit procedures, including subsequent events reviews and going concern.
• Draft management letters and prepare clearance files for manager/partner review.

🎯 Requirements

• CA ANZ or CPA Australia qualification (or equivalent recognised in Australia).
• Minimum 5 years' external audit and financial reporting experience in the Australian regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing Australian audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of ASA and AASB.
• Experience preparing general purpose financial statements for Australian entities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for an Australian professional environment.
