Senior Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Node.js and TypeScript for a high-load, global
• Own key backend architecture parts, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to develop new features from concept to
• Write unit tests and perform code reviews to maintain quality; identify and implement system
• Mentor others and contribute to engineering excellence; actively use AI to improve work processes.
• Work in a remote, globally distributed team with CET hours preferred and Russian-speaking context.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years backend development in product-focused environments.
• Node.js Expertise: Node.js with Koa or NestJS.
• TypeScript Pro: Advanced TypeScript skills and module systems.
• Database Skills: MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Distributed Systems: Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or
• Data & Search: ClickHouse and Elasticsearch experience.
