Senior Backend Engineer (Perp DEX)

📋 Description

• Design ultra-low latency backend services and off-chain infra for real-time trading.
• Optimize engine latency and throughput for top-of-block execution in trading.
• Lead greenfield projects with modern practices to build distributed systems.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and automation tools (Prometheus, Grafana) for 24/7 uptime.
• Partner with quant researchers, smart contract engineers, and PMs to translate trading requirements.
• Drive engineering standards via code reviews, docs, and mentoring juniors.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend dev with high-performance distributed systems; 1-2 years smart contract experience.
• Deep expertise in Rust or Go (or Java/C++ with willingness to learn Rust).
• Proven track record building/maintaining electronic trading systems or exchange infra.
• Strong multithreading, memory mgmt, and low-latency performance tuning.
• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts; Solana a plus; DeFi passion essential.
• Understanding of perpetual futures, margin trading, and derivatives nice to have.
• Fluency in English required.
