• Senior backend-focused role on GitLab's Portfolio Experience team.

🎯 Requirements

• Full stack experience with backend focus; proficient in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills; performance improvements at scale.
• Experience designing/evolving GraphQL and/or RESTful APIs; scalable, backward compatible.
• Experience with automated testing; observability and safe rollouts with feature flags.
• Ability to mentor engineers and contributors; code reviews and pairing.
• Experience integrating AI into development workflows; Elasticsearch/ClickHouse/Python a plus.
