Senior Chassis Engineer - Actuators/Brakes

📋 Description

• Own brake system lifecycle end-to-end from concept to production
• Design and release 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T
• Define and manage mechanical, electrical, NVH, mass and thermal requirements
• Lead component testing, develop testing methodologies, validate systems
• Manage Tier 1 supplier engagements for hardware and software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for vehicle bring-up and CAN signal analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering plus 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX and ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
• Experience with hydraulic brake actuation systems and brake controls timelines.
• Hydraulic systems, friction materials, electrical integration, NVH, safety, mass targets.
• Authoring technical requirements and executing validation tests (component, HIL, full-vehicle).
• Experience with APQP and phase-gate reviews and long-term schedules.
