Senior Claims Adjuster, Workers Compensation

📋 Description

• Independently manage workers’ compensation claims throughout the lifecycle
• Handle complex, high-dollar, high-exposure claims
• Conduct timely three-point contact investigations and determine compensability
• Establish and adjust reserves reflecting facts and best practices
• Administer statutory medical and indemnity benefits
• Manage litigation with defense counsel and oversee strategy

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred
• 5+ years workers’ comp claims adjusting experience
• Active claims licenses in applicable states
• Strong adjudication, medical management, litigation management, and settlement negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze multiple information sources and identify risks
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities; familiarity with G-Suite and Slack preferred
