Senior CMF Designer

📋 Description

• Own and evolve CMF strategy for space station experience, ensuring materials, colors, and details
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, suppliers, and engineering through all
• Build and maintain a CMF materials library and design standards across Vast programs.
• Source and manage a network of vendors and fabricators, evaluating cost, performance, and
• Partner with outside test agencies to validate materials against aerospace requirements and own
• Present CMF strategy and design direction to leadership and stakeholders at program milestones.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Material Science, or equivalent
• 6+ years in CMF design with ownership of CMF programs from concept through production.
• Proven track record leading CMF design strategy on complex, engineered products.
• Experience in aerospace/transportation environments; ability to prototype and lead others in
• Strong conceptual design skills (sketching, modeling, mock-ups, storytelling) and hands-on craft.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD/3D visualization) and enterprise software.
