Senior Community Manager

📋 Description

• Lead dbt community strategy and digital engagement, primarily managing the dbt Slack community.
• Cultivate a welcoming, high-signal space for data practitioners to connect, learn, and collaborate.
• Partner with internal teams to strengthen member experience, participation, and insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in digital community management or related roles in global/distributed settings.
• Experience owning day-to-day operations for large online communities (Slack/Discord/forum).
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics, trust, belonging, and scale.
• Experience building moderation/workflows, including Code of Conduct enforcement.
• Excellent written communication and facilitation; ability to de-escalate and foster productive
• Experience using community tooling and analytics to track engagement and drive improvements.
