Senior Community Manager

📋 Description

• Lead dbt community efforts, focusing on managing and growing the dbt Slack community
• Cultivate a welcoming, high-signal space for data practitioners globally
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen member experience and surface insights
• Shape how data practitioners engage with dbt and each other daily
• Coordinate cross-channel digital engagement beyond Slack as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in digital community management or related roles
• Experience running day-to-day operations for large online communities
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics and trust-building at scale
• Proven moderation and support workflow design, including Code of Conduct enforcement
• Excellent written communication and facilitation skills
• Experience with community tooling and analytics (Slack workflows, analytics platforms)
