Senior Community Manager

📋 Description

• Lead dbt community efforts, focusing on managing and growing the dbt Slack community
• Cultivate a welcoming, high-signal space for data practitioners to connect, learn, and collaborate
• Partner with internal teams and community leaders to strengthen member experience and surface
• Shape how data practitioners engage with dbt and with each other daily across the globe

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in digital community management or related fields in a global environment
• Experience owning day-to-day operations for large online communities (Slack/Discord/forum)
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics and trust-building at scale
• Experience building/modifying moderation workflows and enforcing Code of Conduct
• Excellent written communication and facilitation; de-escalation and constructive conversations
• Experience using community tooling and analytics to track engagement and drive improvements
