Senior Community Manager

📋 Description

• Lead dbt community engagement, focusing on managing the dbt Slack community to connect data
• Collaborate with internal teams and community leaders to enhance member experience and surface
• Shape how data practitioners engage with dbt and each other across regions.
• Operate day-to-day community activities and develop scalable moderation workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in digital community management or related roles in global/distributed settings.
• Experience running large online communities (Slack/Discord/forum), with moderation and health
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics, trust-building, belonging, and scale.
• Proven ability to design moderation/workflows, including Code of Conduct enforcement.
• Excellent written communication and facilitation; capable of de-escalation and constructive
• Experience using analytics tools (Slack workflows, Common Room) to track engagement and trends.
