Senior Component Engineer

📋 Description

• Own component data governance in PLM (part creation, attributes, AML/AVL, lifecycle states)
• Review and approve new component requests
• Define baseline quality requirements for COTS components and enforce via design BOM reviews
• Monitor PCNs and lifecycle changes (NRND/EOL); drive ECOs with mitigation actions
• Partner with Electrical Engineering to meet performance, cost, and availability targets
• Build and maintain preferred parts lists and AVL

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in engineering; 5+ years of relevant experience
• Understanding of PLM (Arena, Teamcenter), ECAD (Altium) and structured component libraries
• Balance performance, cost and supply chain risk with strong judgment
• Demonstrated ownership, high standards, and collaboration
• Ability to obtain a S//SAR level security clearance desired
• Proficiency in Python/SQL; experience writing specifications/standards
