🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience producing social media content for a news, politics, or
• Strong understanding of US politics, elections, government processes, and national news.
• Proven ability to monitor developing stories and identify relevant updates and audience-focused
• Excellent news judgment with strong research, verification, fact-checking, and writing skills.
• Experience adapting content for different social platforms and audience behaviors.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate social copy under tight deadlines.
