Senior Controls Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design, programming, deployment of industrial control systems for battery manufacturing
• Technical lead for automation projects with cross-functional teams (Robotics, Vision, SCADA).
• Develop/test PLC-to-MES data transactions and handshakes for data integrity.
• Partner with vendors; perform FAT/SAT and enforce standards.
• Provide expert electrical/controls support to minimize downtime and boost throughput.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement for reliability and safety.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics or equivalent.
• 6+ years designing/troubleshooting industrial control systems in high-volume manufacturing.
• Advanced PLC skills: Siemens TIA-Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000.
• SCADA/HMI experience: Ignition Perspective, Siemens WinCC, or Rockwell FTView.
• Functional safety: ProfiSafe, CIP Safety.
• Electrical schematics, data tools (iba, Octoplant); vision/barcode integration (Keyence, Cognex).
